Infrastructure development:

• Altogether 21 schools have benefited from school infrastructure projects, where R14 million was spent replacing some 93 mud-structured classrooms, benefiting 5 416 learners.
• Five completed schools will be handed over to the Department of Education of Limpopo Province in May 2008

Capacity building for schools:
A total of 82 educators from 15 schools in the province of KwaZulu-Natal are participating in the programme where they are taught to manage a school like a business. Some 7 764 educators and learners will benefit from this initiative.
